Distinguishing feature of Athenian Soldiers:
Skilled Labor and Architecture are the pride of Athens. It is the only Republic that can construct buildings in the Polis as well as in the Oasis at the same time. Also, the Athenians' walls are the most difficult to take down.
Athens’s infantry and cavalry units, when fully upgraded, have the highest combat status in attack and defense. Of course they are also the most expensive units for recruit and research.
Athens has the most powerful ranged troops in the game, but they can not take part in city defense. Because Athens is the city of Athena, its diplomatic influence is the greatest of the 3 Republics.
